OGS Loses A Gem - Sept 11, 2023

Foremost Old Boy and Doyen of Accounting Pa Akintola Williams is dead at 104.

He reportedly died at 9 am on today, Monday, September 11, 2023.

A prominent product of CMS Grammar School, Lagos, he was until his death the oldest Old Grammarian still living.

He was the first Nigerian to qualify as a chartered accountant.

Williams participated in founding of the Nigerian Stock Exchange and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
